Description

My first Oil on canvas. A portrait of a geisha in japan. This has been a request for a client, and it sure took a while. Getting the shadows right in this painting wasnt easy, but at least I pulled most of the shading on her neck off.

The flower detail is amazing both in the hair and the clothes. Was this a sitting model?

I know it's not about the money but I hope you got some serious $$$ for the time and effort. Please don't say it was a favor for a relative.
